What
is RSS? The main U.S. Joint Forces Command News Feed updates every time there is a new news story regarding the command's many efforts. We have also created specialized news feeds focused at specific areas of USJFCOM's efforts to lead the transformation of the U.S. military. How do I use RSS? We do not endorse a particular reader, you can locate RSS readers via Web search engines. There are also several reviews of the various news aggregators available. Why use RSS? Rather than having to visit many Web sites to find out if there is new content, the RSS agregator shows it all to you in one screen. Many RSS readers also 'alert' you when new content from your favorite web site is delivered. RSS also has the potential for replacing email lists. How
can I sign up for the USJFCOM RSS feed? Note that these feeds are coded in a format for news reader software to interpret and will not render correctly in your Web browser. You will only see raw code. Some browsers have started offering RSS support. Check your browser's documentation to see if it is one of the browsers with this capability. To subscribe read the instructions that came with your reader application. |
